Got a wide-body Porsche 993 with 8x18 fronts and 10x18's on the rear.

Always ran 295/30/18 on the rear but someone said I should have 285's on there! Can anyone help please?

Yes, 285/30/18 is the size for the wide-body

295 on mine smile

Maybe the wheels are 10.5 though can't remember. 295 correct size for turbo but maybe CS is 285, can't see it making a significant difference though.

285's are correct. I have them on mine and this is also what's stated in the "instruction manual".

It does make a difference because If the width goes up or down, so does the radius and thus that changes the rolling radius. Changing the rolling radius will change the set up of the car If you have had the geo done etc with certain size tyres on, also It can make the speedo read +/-.
mY 993S Is due a new set soon. Follow the tyre sizes In your owners hand book.
