Boxster to Cayman

Thinking of changing my 987 later this year. I am currently favouring a Cayman as the replacement. I am sure many of you have made this move and would be interested in your thoughts/experiences. Certainly in this current weather the loss of a drop top would not be a problem!
All experiences gratefully accepted.

Well the roof is the obvious difference (coupled to to less wind noise) You will certainly feel difference in engine if your car does not have direct injection and new has. And also if your is tipronic and you switching to PDK version improvement is big. These are of course not related to cayman vs boxster but 987.1 and 987.2 You will also have a bit more storage space in Cayman.
