Apologies firstly as this has no doubt been covered.

The 111point check for the 2year extension reminder has dropped for my 3 year old Cayman.

What are the alternatives for 'peace of mind' warranty and road side as provided by the OPC?

From what I understand there is nothing which provides equivalent cover to the OPC warranty. Most warranties offered by independents cover the cost of labour but not parts, in exchange for a monthly or annual fee. There is a sticky at the top of this forum which has a list of them.

Roadside assistance is easy enough to get separately (RAC, AA etc)

Why would you not go for the OPC option?

Exploring the opinions of others who have perhaps had greater experience and ownership. The OPC extension is the logical option, thanks for the link and feedback
