Time For New 993 C2 Exhaust System - advice and options.?
Discussion
Your car looks very nice. Whay are you changing the exhaust? I changed mine (1996 C2) because I wanted a better sound - just had cat bypass pipes (£200) fitted and I'm really pleased with it - a nice burble at tickover and sounds great when you wind it up, but not intrusive if cruising.

+2 need to understand what you want to achieve from the exhaust changePowespeed in Ashford, Kent are pretty good. A bunch of guys on 911uk are presently looking to set up a group buy for 100 cell sports cats to be fitted. A little (very little) less mass, a lot more noise including cracks and pops, and around +10 hp could be yours for less that 600 pounds. I was up there the other week listening to some 993s they'd done, and they were also doing a number of caterhams and a lovely ultima GTR.

I would like to be part of the group buy, can you pls point me in the right direction? Who to contact? Can't run cat bypass forever...The exhaust has not been changed from new and frankly there is nowt wrong with except a) the right hand end piece has been refitted badly and is about 1.5 inches shirter than tge left and b) the left hand end oiece has fallen off so need to do something anyway!
I was thinking of doing something different, i am not looking to race the car or take ut to another signifucant power upgrade but looking fir something tgat sounds a bit more throaty and looks right on the car.
Hope that helps

Is that the system made in Ethiopia, or a misspelling of the one from Germany wrapped in cellophane?POORCARDEALER said:
