I am looking for a 987 Boxster S, however it must have an OPC warranty for peace of mind.

I note that I would need to wait three months from owning the car before I could take the warranty out - but is there anything stopping me from agreeing with the current owner to get the warranty put on the car as condition of the sale? In which case it could be transferred to me immediately, and the 111 point check could be a pseudo Pre-Purchase Inspection (albeit not for brakes and clutch, which I'd have to check myself)?

Please can anyone confirm if this is a good plan?

If anyone has any buying tips for 987S I would also be grateful.

Many thanks.

Great plan IMO.

It's a buyers market and loads of Boxsters for sale.

Yeah best way to do it. Not only that I'm sure they would point our brakes tyres etc during inspectiOn. Cat needs to e pretty much spot on to get through usually.
