Don't think so and they're not exactly cheap, believe you would have to import directly. Have you taken a nosey at Paul Stephens?

I thought they were outrageously expensive like £250k+ ? Lovely looking things though but you'd have to import from LA. EVO did a review on one a few months back, they liked it a lot too!

I don’t see why Rob wouldn’t want to do a right-hooker. Every car is built to order anyway, so it’s no difference to them if you ask them to start with a UK donor car.

I think they are stunning, and although you could order a right hooker as you say, reckon it would limit resale. N idea about depreciation either. Replicas seem to stick for ages on the market.
All I know is I would buy one of these over any be-winged GT3...tomorrow.

Apart form the oversized wheels (correct me if I'm wrong - I don't have beard), utterly beautiful.

I'd guess that the folk that buy Singer 911's can afford to not worry about depreciation too much...

Looks like Ninemeister are involved in the engines for these awesome machines so maybe worth a call there first

http://www.ninemeister.com/news.aspx#article22

I will be very very jealous if you get one!

They used to be but to quote

"Our engines are built by world-class motorsport technicians at Cosworth’s ‘Center of Excellence’ in Torrance, California where the classic naturally aspirated flat six is optimized and re-built to motorsport tolerances".

Singer are a very small outfit that have produced a handful of cars to date and yet have received worldwide recognition, with reviews and features in press on all levels, not just car mags. I imagine they get thousands of emails from dreamers every week and would have to employ someone full time to make international phone calls to follow up on all of those.

If you're serious (and I hope you are as these are my Euromillions car and I'd love to read about the experience on here) then I'd give them a call if I were you.

Undoubtedly Singer do a good job and they add some nice detail touches. I would follow the recipe below:

Take an old 964 of your choice from 12k
Ninemeister standard motor with motec +10k
Bodywork 6k
Interior, 4k
KW V3 & suspension refresh 3.5k
Big reds 2k
bits and bobs 2k-5k
Lindsey Racing Fuch's replicas 2k

That's 40k for a virtually brand new car.

At some point I'm thinking about doing something like this:

I'm not really sure they've ever claimed it was a replica, more a car built using modern tech but retaining the attractive aesthetics of the early 911.

Its not a replica, more restoration and evolution of the species. Its fine for those who can afford and want this sort of thing. Some of the touches are really nice and classy.
