Hello Folks,

Does anyone know the delivery costs and Road Tax for the 991 Cab? My OPC quoted me £655 but methinks this is a little high.

1st year tax is £600 iirc, so just £55 on top for delivery seems about right,

The Govt charges £55 1st registration fee on all cars, then first year road tax on a sliding scale based on CO2 emissions and that is £600 for yours. Total £655 (you can see all the details on direct.gov)

That's the 991 Cab PDK by the way. Shouldn't it be £460?

According to Porsche's website the co2 figure for the 991 Cab with PDK is 197 and according to the DVLA site they quote £460.

Ah, I see what you mean. Are there any options which might increase the CO2? Can't think of why it should be more otherwise.

£195 for delivery sounds more like it.

There is no delivery charge on new Porsches, just the first years road fund license and £55 registration fee.

It seems like some dealers mistakenly quote the Road Fund License for the manual when you spec a PDK, it's just enetered manually by the sales guy.

One did this for my 981 until I pointed out the PDK was lower than the manual.

Cheers,

Geoff

Thanks Geoff. Just wanted to make sure as it's costing enough as it is!
