New 987 S owner. Few niggles to address...

Evening all,

I was lucky enough to pick up my first Porsche on Friday, a 2005/05 Boxster S. . Poor weather has not allowed me enjoy it with the roof off as yet, but there are a couple of items I have noticed;

1) the drivers window is not working as 1 touch. Is there a certain way to reset/re-programme this function? (The passenger window does 1 touch fine)

2) a previous owner has been over zealous when adjusting the heater vents and has broken the delicate directional 'fins' within the heater housing. Is there an easy way of removing the vent assembly and rebuilding the vent before refitting into the car?

So far, I am really impressed with the car and the mechanical sound and performance from the car. I will update with pictures elsewhere on the site in due course.

The one-touch should reset if you close the window fully, release the button, then hold the button in the up position for a few seconds.

No idea about the heater vents, sorry!
