As my CR will be living outside, can anyone recommend a decent cover to protect against the elements and birds!!!

It will need to be able to with-stand some reasonable winds but equally not take too long to put on / take off otherwise I'll end up not using the car!

Was thinking 'specialised covers' if they are any good?

Hi Ian - I've bought 3 covers from Cover Zone and been impressed with the quality for the price. They are made to fit the car, so don't flap about in the wind. The Stormforce heavy outdoor cover is very good at protecting the car in all weathers.

+1 for the stormforce - I've had two

I found that it's not getting the cover on and off that's the issue, it's getting the car clean before putting the cover on that can be a PIA.

Totally agree with the issue of having to get the car clean.

Unless its absolutely spotless, dirt and grit just gets dragged along the paintwork, no matter how good the cover is.

I gave up on them a few cars ago.

Cheers, Matt
