Re-trimming Recaro Pole Position seats
Discussion
I recently acquired a pair of black fabric Recaro Pole Position seats. I fancy putting these in my midnight 964 Carrera 2 and was going to get them retrimmed in black with triple blue or triple grey cushions as per the 964RS.
Then I thought, why not do something a little more "individual". Tan leather with houndstooth maybe. Something to just brighten up the interior (which is blue with black dash, currently blue sports seats).
Thoughts?

PS: Recommendations on a good retrimmer who doesn't charge the earth in the SE also welcome.

Joel, Southbound are the only answer.
cobblers, there are plenty of trimmers that do fantastic work for much lower prices, though admittedly southbound are very good too.I've personally seen very impressive things from Capitol seating, they're the uk distributer & there standard of retrimming is very good, or good enough for the redbull f1 team anyways....
I dont usually recommend Southbound, but PPs are very difficult to recover well and I havent seen anyone elses work that is in the same league, even on seats originally supplied in leather or similar.
Theyre expensive, but Ive seen seats which were disappointing which havent cost a great deal less.

Nope, just putting in the seats. No RS door cards, no rear seat delete, just the one totally, instantly reversible change. Which, IMHO, gives you 85% of the interior "RS Experience" for 20% of the ballache.
I was tempted to go "RS-ifying" but my 964 is too nice, so it will be staying factory. Well, it has H&R springs and a cone air filter, 277bhp chip, all fitted by previous owner.
But it's plenty quick enough for me, a '64RS is visually almost identical to a lowered C2 anyway. The only other thing I'm doing is putting the indicators back to amber!
