Hi,

I've noticed a small amount of paint bubbling / rust on one of my wheel arches...(996 '99)

I would say the affected area is less than 3mm high and about 4mm in width at a very maximum...you wouldn't notice it unless pointed out.

Is this something I should get seen to straight away or can I leave it until next summer?

I ask because I'm likely to sell next year...but don't want to make the rust situation too bad that it becomes a bigger headache to deal with next year.

Thanks in advance.

rust will always be best treated sooner rather than later, it aint exactly going to shrink is it? wink

plus you get another year in a mint car with no rust smile

Thanks - the paint has bubbled up so assume it's come up from underneath.

That ain't no touch up job mate, just take it to a body guy & let him have a look, needn't be a massive job but I'd get it seen to.

I agree, if you don't cure the underneath, you won't solve the problem ....

Thanks guys - I like my cars perfect and after living with the issue since spotted a few days ago I had to book it into a bodyshop!

Just can't enjoy the car if it's not 100% right !
