I have a 996 3.4 - and every now and again the starter motor will squeal the dealer cant seem to replicate the fault to fix it.

Any thoughts on what wrong?

my Cayman used to squeal after starting, replaced the motor with a Bosch one ( same os Porsche part I believe ) , was about £350 fitted
