Did my car limits day yesterday and now need new set of front tyres, now Andrew Walsh reckons the Bridgestones are a good tyre for the Cayman, I joined costco last week to buy the tyres and now find out they don't do Bridgestones only Michelins, now do I waste the rears and go Michelins all round or go else where and stay with the Bridgestones.
When I bought my car, the fronts were relatively new (Bridgestones) and the backs were shot. I requested new rear tyres and they put Conti's on. Both were fine and perfectly OK so wear mixed.
Why don't you buy what you want for the front and then buy the rears in the same brand when you need them replacing?
My Cayman is now wearing PS2's front and rear. Still haven't noticed any difference.
