While taking my son for a driving lesson a long a dual carriageway (hand forth Dean ) he stalled at a mayor roundabout only within seconds a horn started blasting out by the way we were in a pug107 with L plates on front and rear .I couldn't believe it after just seconds someone had hit the horn twice ,so with my head out of the window shouting for gods sake ! Only to see a woman waving her hands in the air with sunglasses on sat in a very nice Porsche turbo with private plates
So however you our lady you need to chill a little we don't need that kind of behaviour this is why we get a bad rep

That's 'private plates' for you. Never fail to rise to the occasion.

Yeh but she is not a Porsche 'driver', she is a posing stuck up spoilt bint! Probably late for her important appointment with Gemma, her nail technician.

Don't worry, she will soon move on to the next 'shiny thing'.

Nothing helps get a learner driver to do a nice fast, controlled start at a busy junction like some beeping of the horn, waving arms and random profanity

This is the sttest story I've read on here and there have been a few. It reads like the Daily Mail. She has a Porsche, evil woman, and a private plate! The horror! And your incompetent son stalls at rush hour and so get all uppity like she called your mum something rude.

I'm bored on a train, so I'm allowed to pass comment. You're not bored, you're indignant so you feel the need to wring your hands over an impatient person. Do you feel better? Did you tell your son that you''re fighting his corner on the Internet?

So, you think her actions were reasonable then?

You're a really rude person, why do you have to make such a personal attack, perhps you should stop reading the Daily Mail if it makes you this unpleasant.

Always promised myself on passing I would never get impatient with any learner, even if they stalled a dozen times at a roundabout. And I think I've managed to stick to that promise for 20 years.

Whenever I see someone like the lady Porsche driver I just can't help thinking they were probably someone who hugged the kerb at 10mph with a 2 mile tailback behind them when they were learning to drive...

I don't care what she did. It could be complete fiction, what do you know? It's just a really dull thread that I thought could benefit from having the flouncing turned up a notch.

I would do as I have done before, Either put it in reverse and scare the bejesus out of her, or stop and pop the hood. either way guaranteed to annoy her.

Personally I love the impatient (usually BMW or Audi) up your bottom on the motorway, find a nice slow moving articulated and match his speed, place on cruise and turn up stereo! bliss

You're bored on a train ? That's nice to know. I'm sure we all feel a lot better about that, and of course it excuses your response. Otherwise we might of all just thought that you were just a tad rude smile

You might want to tell your wife to chill out next time a learner stalls in front of her.
