Brown (yes brown) 993 - did I really see one
Discussion
Unless my eyes deceived me I saw a dark brown 993, narrow body C2 pre-vario pulling out of Watford Gap services on Sunday.
Never seen this colour before and admitedly the light was poor but I'm convinced it really was brown - flat nut brown, not metallic. If so, then it must surely be a pretty rare colour no?
Did a Google search to find any but just got chestnut brown interiors.
Anyone on here know this car?

Much as I love the 993, a turd-coloured one might just be pushing it....
Actually it didn't look to bad. A bit 70's retro - in fact my brain registered it as an old 70's 911 at first glance simply because of the colour.Hard to imagine standing in the Porsche showroom in 1995 and selecting Nut Brown though!

My first ever car was a Vauxhall Chevette in exactly that colour of brown. It was always affectionately referred to as "The Turd"
I assume that was not in reference to its colour.

Although I much preferred the RWD Chevette to my second car - a Ford Onion. You could have quite a bit of fun as a 17-year old in a Chevette when it was wet.
