porsche /Marsh insurance
Discussion
so I am under Porsche Insurance and there is a limit of 2 track days on UK tracks for any one given year. There is no available option to extend this if the 2 days is used up. Has anyone tried to discuss with Aviva directly? Alternately, what can one do other than start anew with a new trackday insurer for this purpose?
Competition Car Insurance ( http://www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk/ ) 5 track days included and underwritten by Aviva

+1 - Mannings don't even require you to tell them providing its an ATDO member-organised day.
+1 Been insured with manning for a while now on a tuscan, thought they were a little pricey on the 996tt so started to shop around and was getting stupidly large quotes for half the cover, one company quoted me £1800 with 65% no claims and no track cover included... jokers.
Needless to say I am still with manning

Be careful with the Aviva insurance. In the small print they mention they can use non Porsche parts and have refused to get the car repaired at Opc, which will void your warranty if you have one. If I remember rightly, on another forum someone had an accident and Aviva wanted to get the car repaired at a ford dealership!!!!!

Official Porsche insurance through Marsh Private Client is underwritten by Aviva.Try R.E.I.S in Nott'm. Underwritten by Chaucer.
Annual premium includes 4 track days (UK & Eur, but not N'Ring), and then you can add further track days at a 0.50% of insured value, which (for me) is cheaper than individually arranged track day cover with Comp Car Ins and others.
Efficient and really good people to deal with that do what they say they will do - rare these days!

Guys are you kidding me?? - I'm insured with Marsh (Aviva) and if I have a smash they will not send to an OPC and Porsche authorised repairer to repair and potentially use non OEM parts? WOW! Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
