Do XL MPV tyres work on 911's?

Does the XL make it a stiffer side wall?

The XL tyres are standard for the 996 rear.

Camskill also seem to be offering the lowest prices that I have ever seen on the N rated 19" Cup+. They should be delivering me a set in a couple of days...

These are excellent prices, my OPC quoted £1200 for a set of PS2's for a Cayman R ... Camskill are £820 ?

The Costco -20% has just finished --- what is the extra cost of fitting with balance and Nitrogen fill, and disposal of the old tyres ?

You can get that lot done for 40 quid like I did recently. (that's air though not nitrogen! If you really want nitrogen local Kwik fits usually do it for 1.50 a corner.)

how frustrating I just paid just over £1000 from mytires for a set of superports (fully fitted, boxster size), here I could get PS2s for just over £800. Has anyone used this place? I've never seen tires so cheap. I have had very mixed experiences with tyre fitting places, most times they seem to scratch my rims somehow.

Yes, I used camskill for both my cars...excellent service, delivered within two days and the prices are always cheaper than elsewhere. Just the hassle of taking the tyres somewhere (I had to do this in a van) to get them fitted.

I've used Camskill and no problems, got a set of Conti's for my 996 for a smidge under £700 last year smile

No need to transport the tyres yourself. You can get them to deliver direct to your chosen tyre fitter, rather than your home address.

I did try them too. But camskill trumped them on both occasions for me. Perhaps depends which tyre you buy!

Me too as they're discounting Michelins (and £50 fuel vouchers), but for me it's not just price; it's the skill and care of the fitters they use (all very experienced and it's nice to see people hand torque all of the wheel nuts).

Yep, they turn up at your door with the tyres and treat your car with care. What's not to like?

Just had new set of ps2's fitted all round at Costco Croydon for 997 gt3 (while 20% deal was on) for £930 all in. Would definitely recommend them.

Front 235/35 ZR19 (87Y)
Rear 305/30 ZR19 (102Y)
