Can anyone suggest good car transport service?

I am looking for someone to transport my 911 from Glos to Cumbria - and back again - for some gearbox mods. Looking for reliable company at sensible price.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Mark

Sytner and the audi main dealers around me use these guys. Think the chap who runs it is a Ph'er too, IIRC he used to race a very trick lotus sunbeam.

Thanks - will check them out.

How much do these guys usually charge? I was thinking about having my car professionally detailed, heavily protected and then transported to storage for a month over winter (or the OPC showroom).

I would use Mel Spear. He runs a company specialising in moving Porkers. Very good at what he does

Thanks Steve - I have met Mel and will give him a try.

or get your local garage to take the box out and just send that up there on a pallet ......... much simpler and cheaper all round.
