I have a couple of questions about the Silverstone Experience:

1. Is it offered as a matter of course to anyone buying a new Porsche?

2. Are there different grades? If I buy a Boxster, will I be offered a lower grade experience than if I buy a 911?

Thanks in advance.

They give you an experience day in the model you buy to familiarise you with the car. Well worth it if you're new to porsche.

OPC Leeds where really good with me when i bought my Cayman R ex demo and put me on the Porsche Experience, the invite came last week and showed it was for a Boxster which was changed to a Cayman R without any hassle when i rang them yesterday. I'm booked for 31st August in the afternoon !!!

Jontymo I will see you there. I am also booked in for the 31st in the afternoon. I assume you are coming from Leeds. Just be careful there are a couple of speed cams on the A43 from the M1

Really? I did the car control course - it was excellent, 100% recommend it.

Good to hear yours has come through, should mean my two will be through soon! Will make sure I ask for the CR as well if it suggests anything else. Hopefully I can get a September booking, before the bad weather kicks in!

If anything it is more fun in the wet.

Yes, any new car gets one, and I've been twice now. Loved it each time.

Start of slow, and build up the mentalness, as if you go into the first few laps like an idiot your instructor will be more cautious of letting you play (switch off psm).
