Going to Ace Cafe on the 30th From Lincs/Yorks - Join us ?

Following on from my previous thread, my son and I are planning a drive down to the Ace on Monday the 30th July and wondered if anyone else was daft enough to tag along. We are based in Lincolnshire (DN38 area) and usually go down the A1, but if enough interest is generated we could go via the M1 and meet up somewhere.

I am still considering this mate just trying to juggle work etc.You may want to consider the olympics though traffic could be rather silly.

That did enter my head, but if we come down the M1 it`s only just along the North Circular isn`t it...? and surely the roads can`t be gridlocked all day, can they....?
The Ace is only a short drive 5-10m from the end of the M1 so even if there is traffic, it shouldn't take too long along that stretch
