Hi guys,

Here are some pictures of our road trip through France, Spain and Portugal and back in our 05 987.

First gas stop at Dreux, France - bloody freezing and I am wearing shorts!

Hiding in a carpark in Angouleme, France.

Parked up waiting for the brakes to cool after an epic drive from Zafra to Huelva, Spain.

Parked in Vilamoura, Portugal.

Parked at Praia Da Rocha, Portugal. Cost me 5 Euros to some dodgy bloke but atleast it was still there once I got back!

Caldes de Monchique - they do awesome bread here.

The most expensive beer of the trip - 6 Euros at Sintra.

Cambo Les Bains in the Basque Country.

The Loire Valley.

A Lotus spotted in Blois.

Enjoy, Aly!

Falkens have a good reputation, how do you find them, you must have given them a good test?

Falkens are great, obviously they are not N rated so some people won't consider them. But i haven't felt any difference to the Michelin PS which were on before. And significantly cheaper! The only thing is they come in a lower profile for the rears than the n rated tyres so they don't fill the arch as well.

Great shots and a great trip, how did you keep it so clean (car not wife)? Love the old Lotus, what on earth was it doing in Blois I wonder, lovely place to spend time. Out of interest how long did all that take you?

Koing - my car has been a garage queen for 7 years covering only 30k. I got married last year and during our honeymoon the hotel caught fire and burned to the ground. We were lucky to get out alive and so I thought sod it and spent 6 weeks enjoying the car through Europe as a second honeymoon. The 987 is great and more practical than people think, with two boots i was able to bring back loads of wine!
