I have recently purchased a Boxster 2.7 2003 manual with 47k. I am not happy with the handling as it 'white-lines' badly. Difficult to explain accurately but it wanders and does not offer confidence in terms of handling. There is much talked about on web about lower track control, tyres, shocks, etc, etc....

Any ideas as to whether this is normal (I hope not) or where to start would be appreciated. Oh yes I have checked tyre pressures and they are sport contact 2's.

Many thanks.

Needs a thorough check over. Geometry might be out or it may be a mix of issues such as wear in various joints.

Geometry check and look for worn components in the entire suspension......
The former by a specialist the latter by yourself (if capable) of a respected indi. Not necessarily in the order described above..........

Sounds stupid, but I'd start with something as simple as tyre pressures.

Also whilst doing that have a good look at how they've worn.
