We've replaced all our cars this year

The Mazda 6 was replaced with a SMax so all the family can sit comfortably

My Boxster has been replaced with a very nice A5 (I needed a four seater due to the next change)

My E46 M3 left the fold today and was replaced with this beauty:

I think someone tipped the police off I was getting a new car as there was a speed trap on the A3 (I wasn't going that quickly, I hope) and then another police car followed me for about six miles in 30 and 40 mph zones....

I have taken things easy today and am planning a combination of a good run and a significant clean over the weekend. I have wanted a 911 for over 20 years, it's great to have finally scratched that itch after lots of looking

Great looking piece of kit, enjoy.

Is it chipped/modded or straight?

It has a few modifications, the ceramics have been replaced with steels, it has KW adjustable suspension, after market exhaust and a remap. I am trying to find out a bit more re the remap as I'm not sure how much it has been tickled with

Very nice! smile

If you want it really checked out or ensure it's "tip top" - have a chat to Ken at Nine Excellence and get his guys to check it out. He's a bit of a 996 Turbo nut (his has 800bhp) and a mine of information! smile

From Northway ? I saw it on their website, seemed like good value given the extra goodies on it.

Yes, I bought it from Northway. I can highly recommend my experience purchasing from them, Ray and his team really understand their Porsche's. No pressure sales, very personable and accommodating re giving access to the car when I had Peter Morgan check it out. There was a small snagging list from the inspection all that we're addressed without any issues at all.

The sun is out so it's time for a good clean and wax having had a good drive around this morning. I had high expectations re what I was hoping the car would be like from a driving experience and it really ticks the boxes. I'm pretty much in awe of the acceleration, I've driven fast cars a lot, but this is on another level

The acceleration is something i have yet to get bored with after 7 months of ownership. Infact it is the only car i have ever owned that i love more and more every time i get the chance to drive it.

Enjoy the beast!
