In brief:

I took my Cayenne to a Belgian dealership and receive what can only be described as 'Poundland' service.

The guy was rude, arrogant, dismissive and more to the point - was instructing me to take my car off his car park despite it being unsuitable to drive (knackered propshaft).

There are a couple of other side issues that I'd like to bring to their attention too relating to their service and procedures.

Recommendations please, as I want to contact someone outside of this particular dealership and make sure nobody else has to endure this type of abysmal service.

Thanks

You already indicated that he was Belgian

Sad, but true!

I have fired off an email to Porsche customer services Reading, in the hope that someone in the company will see sense and try to enforce a bit of consistency across their dealers.

Im fully aware that expecting customer service in Belgium is like expecting the second coming of Christ, but I wouldnt have thought a brand such as Porsche could afford to have these numpties slurrying their name for the sake of a bit of common courtesy.

We'll see...

Hi Max,

I had a response back from Porsche customer services UK yesterday - it appears to have been referred to a department in Germany who will be contacting me for specific details.

Are you involved in the Porsche network out here?

If you happen to be passing, come and say hello at Stonemanor - The British Store in Everberg (Near Zaventem).

Thanks for the offer - if I get no further joy I'll be in touch via PM.

Well, hope it's going to be fine. Actually, albeit being member of the local Porsche Classic Club, participating to some events and knowing some key people and being myself president of a car enthusiast club within an European organisation in Brussels I can't say I'm really deeply involved. It will be for me a pleasure to pass by at first occasion ... I work not very far from the airport. Cheers! Max
