I don't normally post up car ads, but noticed this 996t being advertised locally to me by a long established, family owned car dealership.

If anyone is looking for a factory optioned X50 996t with low miles and almost exemplary Porsche service history, this might fit the bill, assuming you can cope with the colour scheme, not my cup of tea, and the price of course.

I know Porsche OPC service stamps don't mean it's perfect, but it does show the previous owners were determined to look after it, despite the cost; I think there was just one years service missing, but considering the low miles, it should'nt be a major problem.

The outfit selling the car are not Porsche specialists, but are a very long established family concern, who are completely trust worthy, IMHO, and quite often have some nice cars in.

I have no connection with them, apart from being a previous happy customer.

I don't think the Turbo S was introduced until 2005 ? but it does have the X50/450bhp factory option which was introduced in 2002.

I think the S has the X50 option but also has PCCB's, but not totally sure.

No, the Turbo S was only from 05 model year as said and would include ceramics.

It does irritate me when dealers advertise a car incorrectly.

I suspect this is one of the many earlier X50 turbos that a previous owner has stuck a "Turbo S" badge on - I saw lots when I was looking for my 996tt, mostly just an extra "S" making the badge off-centre on the engine lid frown

S or not, this looks like a nice bit of kit and unusually low mileage. Perhaps the mileage is so low because the previous owner couldn't bear the sight of the Savannah interior? wink

Fabulous value - never thought I would say this, but almost investment territory.
