Cayenne reverse camera retro-fit

Has anyone ever done this?

I found this camera which looks neat and I can instal myself, but I want to know what's involved in integrating it to the PCM display? Ideally, I'd want the display to switch to the camera view automatically whenever reverse is selected. I had a 2004 X5 where this had been done and it worked well.

What year Cayenne? PCM2.1 has a video input for a reversing camera, so I think it might be relatively easy to connect it up and have the PCM coded to include the backup camera.

It's a 2006 - which PCM is it likely to have or is there a way I can tell or check?

I collected the car this morning and having measured the number plate light fitting it's around 84mm long but all the replacement fittings with cameras integrated into them are listed as being 77mm long, despite being listed for the model? I did find someone selling the same item (with a 5m video lead) for £14inc postage so I may get one anyway to see if I can make it fit.
