964 Celebration/Anniversary
Discussion
I'd sooner have a Supersport for about £25k and below.
Better looking IMO if you get a nice one and still quite rare.
Difference with the 964 is obviously ABS/Power steering and coil spring suspension and the rear spoiler that pops up at a certain speed, and some changes to the dash/ventilation.

I must say I like the look of them although I guess it all goes back to the 2WD over 4WD argumentBetter looking IMO if you get a nice one and still quite rare.

Well when i owned my C4S 993 i always wished it had been the 2S, but sometimes with the GT2 because its so fecking scary i wish it was 4WD.
Then it Would be a 996 Turbo almost :-)

Yeah and you know what the GT2 aside the 6T is still the best 911 i've owned great cars.
I've been in one at 185 on the M1 and airborne at 140 thru a lane on the way back from Palmer Sports. My mate fortunately caught it when we landed but it was a hairy moment that I'll never forget. For me I'm finding it hard to fault my 997 GT3 but there is Definately aircooled on my veins

Me too but I'm keeping an eye out for the right aircooled to run alongside the GT3 for occasional use but I don't need to be spending silly money. 964 C2 I'm thinking is a smart move maybe?? Not like I'm gonna lose tons of cash on it. If you've not owned an AC car then i can understand it, i've had a few as you know and love them, but i just bloody love 911's period.
Have to say my gt3 sounds damn brilliant

I think you need to view in the flesh, i owned an Amazon Green 964 Turbo, which in the pictures looked different again to, in the flesh.
Like anything with these cars fella buy on condition condition condition!

I have driven one. It was standard apart from uprated springs and dampers. I thought it was a lovely car to drive and probably the best looking 964. The owner of the Celebration got into my C2 and couldn't believe how much quicker and more nimble my car felt. They are very heavy.
The premium ( if there should be one) is for the J-lo ass then not for the drive!Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
