1999 Boxster 2.5 exhaust

The exhaust on our Boxster is blowing (it was fine last night but starting the car the afternoon it is making hell of a racket) - any ideas on cost of replacement?

I've had a look at The Porsche Shop's webiste but cannot find a price for standard back box/system.

You could always try Dansk who make OEM exhausts as well as sports exhausts? I put a Dansk sports box on my previous 3.2s for about £500 plus fitting from Design 911 who quote their prices on the web......just checked they start currently from under £300 as they have an offer on

Alternatively try eBay for a low mileage used one...they almost give them away

Thanks chaps - news is 'good'.

We put the Boxster on the ramps this morning and all that needs replacing is the nearside gasket and bolts (leading from the down pipe to the silencer).

Good start (£ wise) to my week!
