Visited Nine Excellence to have have a set of front brake pads fitted, excellent service and great guys to boot. Was slightly displeased to discover that my front shocks have decided to call it a day but I've been given a great price for some upgraded Bilstein units so they'll certainly be seeing more of me in the highly imminent future.

Even got chance to dribble over a 996 Turbo that is going to have roughly 1000bhp by the end of it. fantastic!

If you're based near Surrey - give them a go!

Great looking car you have and awesome sound. When Adam and James are done with you, it will steer like a gokart beer

You picked the right place to have your toy nursed, 9e are the best of the best!

Btw, had a little fun on route home, was challenged by a BMW RR1000... That poor bike rider are still wondering how his Sat went so bad, he really didn't look happy having me nailed to his rear tire through the gears and flashing him to move aside at 150/160 mph smashsmashsmash

9e have done a few tweaks to airflow, optimized the tune and we went with bigger IC's, so power is now even more brutal in the 4.5 - 7.2k rpm band. We are now at the point, where its only really fun playing with super bikes. Amazingly though, the car is still smooth at lower rpm's and you could use it as a daily driver. We have a few little fresh tweaks up the sleeve for next Vmax... I am thinking the little toy will do OK byebyebyebyebyebye

Sounds like a nice bit of sensible driving rolleyes

Don't suppose you've ever ridden a bike though....

You are likely to end up with injuries sustained from the rider if you play that game a lot.

Only 28 years on bikes with plenty of track stuff the first 12 - 14 years (that was before all the girlie electronic help stuff off today), so a fair bit of experience I would say.

Maybe should add a little caveat; not literally right on the rear tire, but close enough that the chap knew he weren't getting away like super bikes normally easily do between 50 & 150 mph. The piece of road was straight 4 lanes for about 20 miles and there was no traffic. The rider handled his bike and power, no funny panic when popping the front through the lower gears, he definitely knew his stuff. He went at me first probably thinking it as an easy challenge and a bit of afternoon fun. We did a bunch of roll ons from 70/80 mph and split ways both of us with thumbs up and a big smile.

You might have had a few bad experience on bikes. Here is a good piece of advice for next time; back off when adrenaline runs too high and you aren't comfortable... But now its time for your chill pill beer

Glad to hear you weren't literally right on his rear tyre!

Experience at the 'Ring demonstrates that a significant amount of drivers appear to drive their cars drive up the rear of bikes to the extent that they can probably read the text on the rear shock hehe
