I have a 2010 Cayman S with painted wheels and the coloured centre crests. The crests are starting to delaminate around the edges. On mentioning this when I was at the dealer the other day they first tried to suggest it was my problem as I had the wheels painted until I pointed out that I had it done at build at a cost of over £1000. They then said that cosmetic issues are only covered under the new car warranty and not the extended warranty. I am mighty pissed about that as it is only 6 months into its extended warranty so I am sure they were delaminating before that. I was also there to drive a new Boxster s with the intention of giving them a letter of intent to get to the top of the waiting list for the new Cayman in early 2013. However, this has really annoyed me as they are categorically stating that I must pay for it.

Ideas?

Does your OPC name rhyme with 'Ratshield'? If so, you may want to consider an alternative OPC. Although it is a 70+ mile trek for me, I'm seriously considering using West Sussex in the future...
