Boxster Central locking fault

When I unlock my car with the remote, the horn beeps twice. When I get in, the red internal central locking light is on and the doors lock then unlock on their own. This occasionally continues for a while whilst driving then stops. When I open the LH door the windows go up and down erratically and the door locks and unlocks. I have checked under the LH seat and there is no water under there around the control unit. Any ideas where to look or try next please?
