996 child seat
Discussion
Looking to buy a child seat for our 996 4S. Search system is down at the moment so thought i would ask you boys, as i'm sure it's been a constant topic over time. My boy is 6 yrs old so would guess a booster type would be best, the one we have already is far too wide. Thanks in advance.

Just in case anyone is interested in seats for cabs, I've just aquired a Mamas & Papas Protec to try out in mine.
It goes in fine although it's a bit tighter than in a coupe as I believe the c pillars are a bit more chunky in cabs.
However as you can see it's still quite upright in it's highest setting.
Tilted back one notch it looks fine for a nipper but the pass. seat still needs to be quite far forwards.
One thing is blindingly obvious from these pics, child no.2 isn't going to fit behind me whatever seat I use.
If you're of average height I reckon they'd be ok.........I'm off to look at a coupe.........
Here are the pics:

Roof up(yes I know the seatbelt is routed badly):

And compared with a Nania Trio, you'll see it has even less legroom.

Hope this is of use to someone.

I have a MaxiCosi Tobi in the back of my 996C4S (Coupe). Fits ok but I would advise taking the seat back and base off to give you a little more room. Installing the seat is a little tricky, especially if you are tall like me; but once installed, it is pretty easy to put junior in and out (but also quite easy to bang his head on the roof. Front passenger seat has to be fairly far forward; there's no way I could get a 2nd child seat behind my driver's seat though.
