Hi All,
My car has the above installed, the bluetooth with the iPhone works fine.
My question is how do I know what unit is fitted as I didn't get anything with the car? Where should I start looking for the 'control box'?
I would like to be able to use the iphone for music - there are differing reports on the internet about being able to bluetooth songs to the PCM with the Tooki Nav-TV or you may need an adaptor 'box' that runs instead of the CD changer? I've asked at the local Porsche specialist and they didn't know?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think you can stream music via Bluetooth on the Tooki. Most of the iPod integration kits like the Dension, Mobridge, and NAV-TV iPor work by emulating a CD Changer. If you have a CDC fitted, you have to disconnect it, and replace it with an iPod adapter. You then use the CDC controls to select artist, album, playlist, etc. It is very quirky, but once you get used to it, it isn't too bad.
I have the NAV-TV unit in my Cayman, and an iPod in the front boot. If you wanted to use an iPhone, you could run the connection cable inside the car. It would charge the phone too, but you would have to plug it in every time you get in to charge, and to play music from it.

That is what I did. I have a Viseeo BT phone module and the NAV-TV iPod adapter. If you were starting from scratch, the the Dension Gateway and Dension BT adapter would probably be the way to go, but if you already have the Tooki, you could get any one of the iPod adapters. Keep an eye on eBay. I picked up mine for £70, and it was easy enough to fit.
