Christ. I want.

Is this a hobby or a job? Where did you have it done if not by yourself?

Edit; ignore that last question, seen the link in your profile.

Do you do many restoration projects such as this rather than repairs? Although I don't plan on restoring any Porsches any time soon, my 'never selling it' Lupo GTI is really tatty in places and once it stops being my every day car this year I plan on having some work done like this.

Cheers andy
Yeah did everything myself, or my prepper did it, the retrimming was outsourced though.
We do quite alot of restorations yes, doing a mk1 golf and a 205 rallye at the minute smile

Nice, really like that, not sure I could have resisted the temptation to put a cheeky duck tail on it .....

Looks great though .....

Well I never. That's my old car - always wondered what happened to it. Nice to see it still going.

Bought it off Paragon in 1997 and part ex'd it 2 years later for the turbo that I still have.

Probably got one or two I think. Pre-digital era though so not easily to hand.

Originally had the registration PLH1 if I remember it correctly.

That looks the dogs doodaa's, really nice job.

I can't beleive how different that shade of grey looks with the sun on it compared to less sunshine.

I'm really liking the grey paint job. What size wheels are those BTW? I know it's all personal preference, but I find clear indicators look a bit wrong on older cars. Like a vain attempt at updating the look of something that was cooler in its original form. I think it would look even better with orange lenses and would add a splash of colour against the grey.

STOP - do not drive anywhere! The bolts holding your 3-piece wheels together are missing!

(I guess they are Veloces so you'll probably survive biggrin - are they removed so the wheels could be refurbed?)

That car looks awesome Lemass - love it.

...by the way, is it possible to have a 964 thread without someone bringing up clear indicators. It's sooooo boring.

Very nice.

Also looks similar to Agate Grey in that the colour turns brown under strong sunlight.

They are 18" Veloce
The bolts were removed for the refurb and I left them out for the wheels to be sealed. They are just plastic studs.
Oh and not a fan of orange indicators. May smoke these ones but deffo not orange

That looks cracking. Did you re-do the wheel centres darker in the last few pics?

Stunning, a great chioce of exterior colour too.

Question, were you tempted to change the interior colour and spec. to a more `race focussed look` too match?
