981 door ..

been cleaning and sealing my 981.

the doors really are a sculpture, the way it curves into the side vents, the way there's a hump, like a belly, and the door handles and recess is also wonderfully organic.

it just flows.

so complex, yet so elegant, and not like current trend of having lots of proud and aggressive lines.

truly lovely.

Had a look at a red 2.7 with the intakes in red at pc yesterday-looks much better.
Always thought 19 inch wheels were enough,this had the satin silk 20s. The car looked stunning. Knocked out 991 coupes & cabs! To the untrained eye it looked the 100k car in centre!
As you may know from an earlier thread I'm considering a 991 3.4- the "cats in the pidgeons" as far as i'm concerned now!

I'd have to agree. It's a stunning looking car and is top of the list for my next car to replace my 996 in maybe 3-5 years time.

I think the 981 is stunning....so much better looking than the the new 991 Cabrio.....two to three years down the line when you rich sods have taken the the depreciation hit....I will be looking for one.....but until then....enjoy....
