981 - Standard Steering -vs- Power Steering Plus

Has anyone tried the standard and the 'plus' versions of the steering? Any thoughts? Autocar called the 'plus' an "acquired taste" IIRC.

I've driven the 'plus' quite a bit and it was fine, but I've not had the chance to drive the standard steering yet to compare.

I've tried the Plus on a 991 and the normal on a 981. I would definitely leave the box firmly unticked. I know it shoudn't make any difference once you get to speed, and maybe it was because it was on different cars, but the 981 felt infinitely better than the 991 from standstill to motorway speeds.

I didn't add to the post as the steering has been written about so much in general, and without a back-to-back I didn't want to try to say too much about.

I preferred standard though.

Tried both on the 991 and prefer the "plus".
