Hi Guys,
You know the little cubby hole with the flap next to the glovebox?
(its in the centre of the dash above the gear stick).
Well my one refuses to open, does not matter how much I tap or bang!
Not a massive problem I hear you say, however thats where I keep my locking wheel nut key.
Do I need to use a little more vigor or am I missing a trick?
Suggestions appreciated.
Cheers
Keith

Lol, you mean the ashtray? Mine Jams when the cable from my iPod cable interferes with the catch. After a few attempts of pushing on either top corner rather than the top middle, that always does the trick for me.

I get the same loose change rattling around sound in my 996 C4S. I've had the car for a year and its about time I sorted it so maybe I'll look for a similar hiding place

Move the passenger seat fully back, put your passenger side floor mat on the drive & get your head into the passenger footwell facing up.

There's enough room to get in there & if you're looking up I'd bet as wozy says there's a wire trapping it.
