Best Boxster tyres: Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 - for 986 S

OK so I haven't tried lots of tyres, only have the Michelin Pilot Sport N rated tyres that are recommended and fitted as standard, but the new Eagle's knock the Michelins into last century.
I honestly cannot believe how it's possible to get so many areas of improvement without a huge trade off; I'm still looking!
Same tyre size (rears 265/35 R18, fronts 225/40 R18) and pressures, the Eagles give:
1. Noticeably better ride - some interior rattles are completely gone. Car rides better on all types of road.
2. Quieter - a bit less road noise
3. Handling - much better feel to the car and steering feedback improved. Probably due to stiffer sidewalls.
4. Grip - much, much better than the Michelins in both dry and wet. Even under gentle acceleration coming out of my driveway there was always a bit of wheelspin when the road was damp, now I have to accelerate hard to cause this. Car is transformed, I have much more confidence in its grip and can finally enjoy the car as I should have been able to before.
5. Rim protection - better sidewall skirt to reduce wheel kerbing
6. Price - they were noticeably cheaper than the Michelins (details of order below).
7. Wear - time will tell how long they last, I've also had the Parr fast road alignment (btw I assessed the tyres before the alignment - I recommend the alignment too which I've posted about separately) which should increase wear slightly anyway, but unless I need a new set in half the miles, I'll be happy for lower lifetime for all the other benefits.

- ****There are loads of different types of Eagle F1 so take care when ordering, these are definitely great ones! These tyres are probably available in other sizes for the other Boxsters too and I'd expect them to be an equal improvement.
