Just got back from a fantastic couple of weeks away.

We managed to hit the south of France for a week, drive up through Italy, Over the San Gothard pass, then up in to the hills and did the Suston Pass (fantastic road when the top isn't thick fog!) then in to Germany and did the Stuttgart Porsche museum as well as a few other bits (including the zoo, lots of beer and Bratwurst!) before back in to France and Eurodisney and back home.

2500 miles in a 2000 Boxster S, car performed faultlessly, only a blown headlight bulb went wrong.

Unfortunately back at work tomorrow........

I'll get some pics up when I get the chance, I'd very definitely recommend the museum though, it's not big but there are some fantastic cars and exhibits (including a hollow spoke wheel exhibit) and the audio guide will extend the visit to around 4 hours. Not bad for 8 euros. The gift shop is crap though and the Porsche dealer over the road is a better bet to get a Memento from. But the cafe is brilliant, great food and drink and cheap.

Glad you had a good trip Ollie. Will be calling in at the Museum again in a week or so so will see if much has changed from being there last year. Also doing the Mercedes Meusem on the way down to the Alps and into Italy. Hoping it's a fog free day when we do the Susten smile
