Correct Camber? Uneven front tyre wear - normal? 996TT
Discussion
Wondering whether the car's camber settings need looking at.
Inside edges of front tyres worn far more than outside edges.
Car tends to pull to one or the other side (ok, not exactly pull - but it feels nervous - not sure what the term is) if the tarmac is less than perfect or if the road is cambered. Rather tiring over long distances.
Is it normal for the tyres to wear in this manner?

If it was just the tyre wear I would say take some negative camber out of the front - but it sounds like you have suspension issues beyond settings - get it checked out and regain confidence in the car - then you can drive harder on twisty roads/track and justify/utilise the negative camber.
Thanks guys. Is the camber easily adjustable?
Possibly some previous owner was over-enthusiastic.
I think the lower arms were replaced once, need to check s/h. Car now has 59k on the clock total.
Would any issues with bushes be picked up at the MOT? Just passed no problems no advisories.

Camber won't produce the nervous and wanting to pull left & right behaviour by itself. That sounds far more like the toe is out of spec on the front. It will also produce uneven tyre wear as you describe.
ETA: The MOT will pick up worn bushes but won't spot geo irregularities. Camber is easy to change via the top mounts.

Follow up, took the car in for a full geo check, and yes, all four wheels needed seeing to. The front was toed out and so was one of the rears (!) and camber/castor etc was also out.
Nice to note that apart from needing an s-type ring spanner for the rear all adjustments were straightforward.
Guy was with me for around 1.5 hrs and cost me all of 30 Euros :-) so very happy bunny indeed. Bad news, one tyre is split so that needs seeing to, ouch.
