997 front boot cubby hole.

Gents, this may be 'daft question of the day' but here goes: I've just found a useful cubby hole next to the cd multi change and sat nav did player in our 997. Any reason I can't use it as a storage area for a litre of oil, some bulbs etc? Smart alec answers anticipated...

Not silly! I use that area for spare oil, detailer, screen cleaner, cloths, and, um...Sainsburys bags.
