I'm looking for a 964 tip in black or dark blue. Would need to be in good condition and have all the correct stamps and paperwork. Can anyone help?

Have you scanned the classifieds on here? Tips usually hang around a bit so should be a decent choice.
You after coupe cab or targa?

I've driven the black one and its a really nice car but the paperwork isn't quite right. It's a shame as its black/black tip my no.1 choice! It's really got to be black or dark blue and a coupe, so i'm not spoilt for choice. There is a dark blue one in Kent which is an option. I just thought i'd post in case someone on here was thinking about selling.

Just out of curiosity, what's wrong with the paperwork?

There's only 3 MOT's from around 2003 period, there are a number of invoices relating to servicing and other work going back a number of years, the invoices are 'duplicates' as the originals were lost, they are undated and consecutively numbered. The rebuild invoice doesn't say much more than 'engine rebuild' on it. I had a cerbera rebuilt a few years ago, the invoice was 4 pages long and detailed all the parts used. The car is being sold on behalf of 'Adam' who bought the car to do up and keep, but he's now decided to sell it, the V5 is not in his name. The whole thing doesn't sit well.

Mmmm - that would do it. At £20k you wouldn't want those kind of questions. Significantly less, and with some sleuthing, it might be a decent buy - certainly looks nice on the face of it.

Yes, that's the car. If the paperwork was in order i'd have made an offer. Its had a respray, but don't remember there being an invoice for that. Considering the paperwork and everything i was told, the whole thing just didn't add up. If it doesn't feel right, then it probably isn't!
