996 alarm query

I have a 996 C4 99 and have just fitted a new becker sat nav. I understand that the radio must connect to the alarm, to avoid the beep with the horn when the alarm is set. Can someone tell me where these alarm contacts are and what they look like so that I do not need to pay an OPC a few hundred quid to connect them together!!

alan i see that you are in hertfordshire. jz machtech at kings langley fitted my becker sat nav last dec. if you call them they may have the answer for you.
