Cayman R mirrors
Discussion
Right, two bodyshops - one recommended by an OPC, the other not, but acknowledged by said OPC as being very good (and I've seen their work on many cars).
Recommended company (i.e Porsche Approved) is twice the price as the other but also very good.
OPC wouldn't undertake this work - they've just given me the contact details for me to arrange myself.
In that respect I guess theres no issue with the Porsche warranty being void?
Service advisor seemed to think wing mirrors are classed as trim items so not covered anyway.
Which company do I / would you use?

Judge it on the quality of the work, not the price. If it's the right quality and twice the price, you know why you're paying more. Recommended company (i.e Porsche Approved) is twice the price as the other but also very good.

I used a good local body shop to paint the side intakes of my Cayman black they were not expensive at £40 they did a top job too...no need to spend lots of money when you don't need to.Recommended company (i.e Porsche Approved) is twice the price as the other but also very good.

Have you thought of wrapping?
I wrapped the front grill blades myself in about an hour, including taking em off and replacing.
Gloss black 3M wrap off Ebay for less than a tenner.
I was amazed how easy it was to do, and worst case its cost £10 if you dont like it.

However, looking at the above pics, leave them white. They seem to get lost in the windows, roof if they are black.
