That is very cool. I went to this and spoke to him briefly when he was standing behind the car, and he was friendly, seemed a very nice guy. In fact, I didn't recognise him (I don't know my rock stars and was looking more at the car than him) and introduced myself and he just introduced himself as Jay and kept on talking about the car. My wife told me who he was later...

That was definitely the nicest 2.7RS there, my favourite colour (I think there were close to 40 of them).

Did you have a word with him about not smoking roll-ups in a car as nice as that?

Bumped into him in Perth airport lounge in Oz a few years ago , and asked him when he was going to ditch the Ferraris and replace them with some real metal . He mentioned he had just bought his first Porsche and was a convert.
Yep a real petrol head through and through.

Saw him earlier this week flying his helicopter around Gairloch, he is quite friendly with the locals up there and quite often drops in to the local pub as well as taking his neighbours for a fly around the bay. Sounds like a decent guy in general, a bit different than the press like to paint but who knows.

One thing though, he is a proper petrolhead so thumbs up from me!

Nope its green and white, its on the video of his new single posted above. We did not know it was him as i was commenting to the wife that someone was obviously having a play as we came back from redpoint, got to our b&b and the owner commented it was JayKay, next thing he parks it up in the bay as the tide is out and the landlord and landlady come out of the pub get in the heli and off he goes with them.

Gutted i was not in my CR as i reckon he would have spotted us as he was overhead LOL

Lovely car, superb colour. Owner however does seem to have huge 'small man' syndrome.

laugh

I was waiting for someone to mention that.

I'd post a link to the vid but I'm on my phone.

I used to be a big fan of his music, his cars and him in general. Still am I suppose but he has made a bit of a prat of himself on occasion, but then again I guess most of us have.

He's living the dream so fair play to him.

Its a fair example, of an exceptional motorcar, but def not the nicest one at
that event. In my humble opinion of course.

The one in the first link is a different car. It's aubergine, the other one is blue. He has a few cars I think. The aubergine one was on Maxted Page's sold page last time I looked.
