How can they put this up as Porsche Approved?!?!?!?!?
I thought they didn't know it had been re-shelled?Sold to them in good faith?
O/T - As for them being rude and obnoxious, that wouldn't see them being consistently top of the UK's OPC's for customer service - which they are.

I'm not bothered what they came top of, myself and close friends have had dealings with them and they were disgraceful.. They bought the car off a trader as far as I know. Sold to them in good faith?

So a Porsche dealer buys a car in "good faith" pull the other one mate, they've got plenty of options for checking cars out prior to buying them more like they got it cheap and saw an opportunity to make a tidy profit.

I understand where you're coming from, but I'd guess most OPC's don't delve into the depths of Pistonheads and the like to find the provenance of a car they're taking in.So a Porsche dealer buys a car in "good faith" pull the other one mate, they've got plenty of options for checking cars out prior to buying them more like they got it cheap and saw an opportunity to make a tidy profit.
Perhaps they should.
I just can't see any OPC trying to sell a car such as that GT3 knowing its history, and trying to get away with it.
The service myself and several others on here have received from them has been exemplary in the past.

Yes but this car went back to Porsche for a re shell so I'm pretty sure a brief check up on the car through the OPC network would flag up what had happened. "Porsche Approved" means nothing opc dealers have sold loads of bumped cars over the years all be it generally repaired properly however so not a major issue. There's members on here part ex'd cars that have been badly bumped and been surprised they've took them in knowing the history. Perhaps they should.

I'm just speaking from my experience and friends with Leicester if you've had good service I have no reason to doubt you.

It was reshelled but finished off shoddy, paint peel and if I remember correctly the owner who paid around £100k for the car unaware it had been rolled was driving in rain and it was pissing water in through back window. Along with squeeky and rattling interior. Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

ds your ever likely to buy a car from.
