AMSTERDAM - The owners of a Porsche Panamera or Cayenne in Amsterdam likely the victim of headlamp thieves.
After the navigation and airbags thieves are now focusing on headlights. Not just any pair of headlights but from a Panamera or Cayenne. In the past week, some 20 Porsche owners became victims.
It is suspected that this innovative headlamps are being used in the cultivation of marijuana. The lights consume less power and give off much heat. The damage that the thieves wreak, runs in the thousands of dollars.
