Guys I need a beater to go with the 964 and I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on one of these two, they are pretty much the same spec wise:

Does anyone know anything about them? Anybody been to see them? The Atlas one was with Hendon way for a while.

Similar cars, spec, mileage etc. If they both are equally straight with no adverse hisory, I'd go for the Atlas one purely because I prefer the colour. smile

I've seen the Silverleaf car and personally i think the Blue one looks lovely.
Silver will be more practical though.

Crimp,

How would you rate the condition of the interior on the silverleaf one? The drivers seat and steering wheel look a little shinier that the GT Silver car?

My trouble is I'm near Heathrow and both of these are in Yorkshire.

I'm torn between the two. I always loved both colours. I saw an Atlas C2 today and it looked great.

They're both nice mate to be honest.
Go with the one that ticks the most boxes not just the car but the dealers too.
The shinyness of the wheel and seat are a quick fix anyway with the right cleaning products.
I think when you are looking at spending serious money you need to travel and drive both etc.
I've never bought a 911 locally yet. Good luck

Cheers, I feel a mighty quest coming along with a 997 at the end of it!

I'm going to use it as a daily, I'll do perhaps 4k in it per annum. Weekends are spent with the family and the Merc C350 estate copes with all that stuff.

Probably going to upgrade the wheels for the later Gen II ones, they look miles better.

4kpa as a daily? They will be short journeys, you will barely get it warm!

When you hit your ceiling that little extra becomes a lot of money.

Surely the first is Arctic Silver & the second is Midnight or Lapis Blue? I had Atlas, it's really really dark grey, almost black

Neither, I'm still looking. I had to discount the Atlas Grey on account it didn't have Adaptive Sports seats; I need the lumbar support due to my back.

The Silver one was went on the back burner after I saw the GT Silver 08 plate at the Aston dealer which had half the mileage and was at the same price, sadly a little procrastination and that was missed.

I'm waiting for the crappy weather to go and I have a feeling we're going to see more choice soon.

They both look awesome!

Does Atlas grey look well normally so blueish? Is it the photos or does it have a blue tint to it?

Was there any difference/updates from a 2006 turbo to say 2008 turbo?
