Hi all
My 18 month old Gen 2 997 is starting to look a little worn on the black sports seats. Its a daily drive and the white stitching on the drivers side as you get in is getting thinner/frayed. My previous car had leather sports seats in stunning nick after 30k with the same maintenance.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Would the manufacturers warranty cover it? If its fraying, I would say that is unacceptable wear. My 5 year old Laguna seat stitching is fine!My 18 month old Gen 2 997 is starting to look a little worn on the black sports seats. The stitching is in exactly the right place to be worn quickly and I would suggest it depends on how you enter and exit the car/seats.
Any car with a good bolster will wear given time and it will depend on your own body/entry exit etc.
You can try the OPC route, but I fear they'll suggest FW&T.
There are specialist seat repairers around who will be able to help and refresh your seats for not much money.
