I think theirs was paler and was a one-off - this one looks like Porsche Rubystone Red, in which case it could be a factory colour.

Nope - that was described as paint to sample 'baby pink' IIRC and was very much a Barbie colour. They got a startling price for it in the end but it sat there for years before a buyer emerged. The one in the thread seems to be Rubystone - a factory colour that quite a lot of people seem to have a soft spot for (particularly if placed on a 964RS). Pink, but without being overtly mincey.
